Days of Noah: The Return of the Ancient Spirits and the Battle of the Gods
We are excited to announce the launch of Pastor James Taylor's new sermon series: DAYS OF NOAH. Starting in September, we will dig deep into Matthew 24:37 "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." By taking a look at current events and history, we will understand "That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun."

Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
I. Introduction
A. Scriptures we must read to get nuggets of mysteries
1. Ezekiel 28:14
2. Isaiah 14:13-14
B. Three time periods in the Bible
1. Ages past
2. Ages present
3. Ages to come
4. Ages to come: is the return of Christ, and the new Jerusalem
5. Ages present: is now or the module of time from Adam until now
6. Ages past: is a period of the time before Adam and it is a mystery
C. Gap theory. Gap theory is a period of time between Genesis 1:1-Genesis 1:2
II. Body
A. Battles
1. 1st Battle was when Satan was an A Cherubim, and tried to take the throne of God
· He along with 1/3 of the Angels fell with him.
2. The 2nd battle was in the 40 day fast of Jesus, and Satan tested Jesus, and said “if you will worship me”
· Jesus overcame the Devil Luke chapter 4
3. The 3td battle was when Jesus died on the cross, and went to Hades and recovered the keys of death, hell, and the grave. Revelations 1:18
B. Satan has always wanted to be worshipped
1. The 1st murder in the bible was Cain and Abel. It was over an offering, the offering was an act of worship, Genesis 4
2. The 1st sin in the promise land happened during 1st fruits, which is a act of worship. When Achan withheld the gold, and the garments@ the city of Jerrico.
3. The 1st battle in Babylon was when three Hebrews boys were told to bow down and worship an Idol. Daniel 3
4. Acts 17-19
· Why were Christians ran out of the Synogogues?
· Why were Christians ran out of cities?
· Because the Roman cities worshipped Idols, and the Christians wouldn’t
· They were beaten over whether Zeus was god, or was Jesus the real God.
· Is Aphrodite was god, or is Jesus the real God.
· Is Diana the goddess of heaven, or is Jesus the God of Heaven.
5. This will come into play in the end of days.
· The battles over worship is not over, it will happen again. And I believe we are starting to see those winds blow toward another battle
C. End time Battle Ground
1. Garden of Eden
· Genesis 2:10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. 11 The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. 14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel;[a] it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.

2. 1040 window
· The 10/40 Window is a term coined by Christian missionary strategist and Partners International CEO Luis Bush in 1990 to refer to those regions of the eastern hemisphere, plus the European and African part of the western hemisphere, located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, a general area that was ...
· All religions began in region
· Show image
· The 1990 research data states:
· this part of the world was home to the largest populations living in deep poverty and lowest quality of life.
· This research deals in overall population characteristics. The 10/40 Window is a term that helps people visualize the general area.
· The Window article refers to the "poorest of the poor" living in that region (based on late-1980s per-capita GNP under US$500). Of the three billion people living in such poverty-stricken nations, 82% lived in the 10/40 Window.
· Yet such a result contrasts with 10/40 Window nations such as South Korea and Japan. Japan boasts the world's third largest economy, while South Korea the eleventh. Such nations were strong throughout the late 20th century.
· Geographically, the Window includes the Philippines and Portugal, which are both nations with a Roman Catholic Christian majority,
· Also Greece where almost 98% of the population belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church, plus South Korea, which is home to the largest single congregation church in the world and is also the second largest missionary sending nation in the world. The window does not encompass Indonesia or Sri Lanka, nations with very little access to Christian resources.
· Gaining widespread use
· Over the years, the 10/40 Window has evolved from a specialist term used by Christian missiologists to assumed vocabulary for Christians in the West. It is an emerging term in the secular press and can be found in press style glossaries. Non-western writers and organizations also refer to the 10/40 Window. In addition, those opposed to the idea of evangelism make use of the term.
· Analysis
· The original 1990 GIS 10/40 Window analysis produced several insights, among them showing that the nations of the 10/40 Window represent (as of the research date):
· 82% of the poorest of the world's poor (per capita GNP less than US$500 per year)
· 84% of those with lowest quality of life (life expectancy, infant mortality, and literacy)
· the hub of the world's major non-Christian religions (Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.,)
· close to 100% of those who are both most-poor and have least-access to Christian resources (two-dimensional analysis)
· The least Christian resource investment and least sharing of the Christian message
· The GIS analysis utilized country-level data from the Operation World almanac, the World Christian Encyclopedia, and the World Factbook.[2]
· Non-Christians in the 10/40 Window by religion
· The first edition GIS analysis maps highlighted the three major religious blocks in the 10/40 Window, specifically the majority Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist nations. Population estimates at the time for the year 2000 (from Operation World) were given as:
· 28 Muslim Countries, 1.1 Billion population est (2000)
· 2 Hindu Countries, 1.1 Billion population est (2000)
· 8 Buddhist Countries, 237 Million population est (2000)
· Later updates have been based more on census data and other estimates rather than forward-looking population estimates. The cited reference provides the following estimate of "unreached" non-Christian populations in the 10/40 Window:
· 865 million Muslims
· 550 million Hindus
· 275 million Buddhists
· 140 million in 2550 tribal groups (mainly animist)
· 17 million Jews
· Why is this so important?
· The majority of these people in the 1040 window have not heard the gospel.
· @ the center of the 1040 window is Iraq, the 2nd most mentioned country in the Bible
· All major religions began in this window
1. Judaism
2. Christianity
3. Islam
4. Buddhism
5. Hinduism
3. Seat of Satan
· Revelation 2:13 “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
· What church was Jesus talking to?
· Pargamos
· Pergamon was an ancient city located in the Anatolia region, approximately 25 kilometres from the Aegean Sea in present-day Bergama, Izmir Province of Turkey
· In the 1040 window
· Daniel chapter 10 talks about the prince of Persia
· 1040 window
· Babylon is Iraq
· 1040 window
· Is the 1040 window the territory, or boundaries for all demonic activity?
· I believe it is
· I believe activity, and control, not the land, but the atmosphere
D. Nimrod
1. Genesis 6:4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
2. Jewish Rabbi’s and other theologians believe that Nimrod was a remnant of the giants
3. He was a big man
4. The Bible talks about Giants before and after the flood
5. Nimrod built cities, I believe in the 1040 window
6. According to Josephus of Antiquities writes Nimrod wanted to defy God.
7. We know that God confused the languages when Nimrod built the but the tower of Babylon.
· This where we get the term Babal
· But the original meaning means, gates & gods, or the gate of god.
8. Three things about Babylon
1. 1st world gov.
2. 1st false religion
3. 1st world economy
9. Revelations 17 & 18 talks about mystery Babylon, it’s coming full circle
10. How this region will effect Israel
· Assyria conquered the 10 tribes of Israel
· Babylon conquered Juda and destroyed the temple
· The prince of Persia hindered the prayers of Daniel.
11. Revelations 9:15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
· Rev 9:14 Euphrates river dries up
· Angels released to torment
· Rev 9:1 bottomless pit
· Rev 9:11 Apollen
· Isis
· All to bring in the Anti-Christ
