The Mission of The Village Church - Part 2 - Save

When looking at the definition of a Mission Statement, we see that it's purpose is to provide direction and guidance in pursuit of the Vision. The Mission Statement is the vehicle that carries you to the goal. You may be be thinking, aren't the "mission" and "vision" pretty clear when discussing Christianity? Our response would be, "Unfortunately, not really". Times have changed, culture has changed, and even churches have changed. But the one thing that should not change is the Vision that our God, Yahweh, has for His people, and the expectations He has for how we are to live our lives. At The Village it is our desire to get back to the basics, to get back to pursuing that vision with passion and fervor. And that is exactly what we intend to do! Join us as we take the next 3 weeks to explore the "Mission" of The Village Church. Seeking that which has been lost. Saving those whom would repent and follow Jesus Christ.
