Life Church in Mandeville, LA began in March 1998 when Pastor Paul, Lara, Jared and Ryan Smith resigned their very successful Pastorate in another state to Help Launch Life Church into existence. With a very purposeful and intentional goal, Pastor Paul and His family launched Life Church to be a Kingdom Impacting Church that would and could speak life, give life and with integrity be about fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ to go into all the World.


Life Church exists to provide a safe environment where people can discover and develop a relationship with GOD that produces a RELEVANT, AUTHENTIC, AND POSITIVE LIFE.

A. We are Sanctified by the word

John 17:15 “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.
John 17:16 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
John 17:18 “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
John 17:19 “For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

Rhema Word
Eph. 5:25 ¶ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,
Eph. 5:26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
Eph. 5:27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

B. We are Saved by the word.
(This is not a SAVED going to heaven word). That's already occurred. This is a WORD that God sends to us that SAVES us from doing something we should not do.


C. We are Secure by the Word.


Conclusion:
Let me give you some Practical Instructions for a FRESH RHEMA from GOD.

It does no GOOD for YOU, if you are a hearer of the WORD and not A DOER of the WORD.

Therefore,
1. Recognize the Word - not every word spoken to you is a word for you.

2. Receive the Word -
Luke 1
37 "For nothing will be impossible with God." 38 And Mary said, "Behold, the bondslave of the Lord ; may it be done to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
