Following Christ must transform how we treat others.

Treating people based on their wealth reveals ungodly motives.

v. 6b - Isn't it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court?

Poverty or wealth doesn't determine a person's value to God.

It's not an issue of your money, it's an issue of your heart.

Favoritism of any kind violates the core value of our faith.

Faith that soars is faith that loves others just as they are with no hidden motives.

Next Steps –

1) Right now, repent of the times you have treated people based on what you thought you could gain from them.

2) Today, begin to look at others as God looks at them – as people to love without regard for who they are or what they have.

3) This week, look for someone to love who has nothing to offer you in return.
