My personal convictions dictate to me what my public conduct should ultimately be.

'And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. ' Romans 5:3-5 NASB

Our public conduct reflects our personal convictions.
Say it with me, "This is some unique Greek!"

“Manner of life” (ESV) / "Conduct" (NKJV)
Politeuimai - live, conversation / “life’s message”
In Greek culture, it implies the idea of citizenship.

“Stand Firm”
Steko - staked in the ground, remain standing, perseverance.

“Granted”
Charizomai - grace, to do something pleasant, to do a favor, to give graciously.

“Conflict”
Agon - assembly, used to describe the games played at the Greek Olympics.

EAT (Eric’s Amplified Translation)

"Let your life’s message, as a citizen of the kingdom of God, be such that you persuasively persevere through the sufferings that have been graciously given to you as a gift; the same sufferings, the same gift, the same game that I’ve been given to compete in!"

We must learn to see every challenge as a charity!
Say it with me, "This is some unique Greek!"

“Consolation from Christ”
Paraklesis - encouragement or comfort

“Comfort from love”
Paramythion - encouraging address or consolation
Agape - Gods unconditional love

“Fellowship In the Spirit”
Koinonia - intimate relationship, communion
Pneuma - breath of God

“Affection & Mercy"
Splagchnon - bowels, heart, inner being
Oiktirmos - compassion, mercy

“Have the same love” is a complex sentence in the original Greek.

EAT (Eric's Amplified Translation)

"If you have received anything from the Father, The Son, or the Holy Spirit that now dwells within you, then love one another in the same way that you have been loved!"

We must learn to become selfless in the midst of suffering.
We combat selfishness with the mind of Christ.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Putting on the mind of Christ strengthens our convictions, which lead to godly, Christ-like conduct/citizenship that enables us to thrive in the midst of hardship, through the emboldening power of the Spirit of God.
