When it comes to winning arguments, Pastor Jonathan encourages us to use the "Be First" Life Hack. Consider the following three parts and discuss how your relationships may strengthen as you apply them:

Be first to LISTEN...truly listen to the other person, don't just wait until it's your turn to speak.

Be first to APOLOGIZE...acknowledge when you've been wrong, and ask for forgiveness.

Be first to PUT THEM FIRST...serve, give, adjust, or change to place value on the other person.

Before you close in prayer, discuss the bottomline from this message. "Be First" means "Being right with you is more important to me than being right."
