Reflect: In Acts 6, Philip (along with six others) we’re chosen to wait tables. Now he’s serving as a missionary and evangelist. Quite different from his original calling, wouldn’t you agree? What would have happened if Philip said “no” to this new calling because he felt he was limited to what he had been doing?
Reflect: God’s called all of us to some sort of ministry.What has God called you to do? How has your understanding of it developed or changed over time?
Reflect: Who in your life might not hear the message of Jesus love and forgiveness if we don’t follow Philip’s example and allow God to use us in ways we couldn’t have even imagined?
Reflect: What’s one thing you can take from this message and apply to your life?
