https://youtu.be/_U6mJeNx-R8Big Idea: Palm Sunday! As we reflect on the first Palm Sunday, lean in as Pastor Rick shares three things Hosanna! means.
- The story behind this event…Passover (you may recall from the Old Testament, the children of Israel put blood on the doorposts signifying they were God’s, keeping their first born from death) New Testament - they were accustomed to bringing sacrificial lambs to the priest at this time.
- Jesus’ triumphal entry was prophetically declaring He was the lamb that would take away the sins of the world. (John 1:29)

1. Hosanna! - means Jesus, save us, please!
As we are working through this time of crisis…no better time than the present to shout and declare, “Hosanna!” Over our lives, situations, and circumstances!

2. Hosanna means “Salvation! Thank You!”
3. Hosanna on Palm Sunday - Praise God!
- We confess our need of You, Jesus! We praise You for paying the penalty for our sins and providing a way for relationship with God.
- We choose in the midst of uncertainty to shout, “Hosanna! Blessed is He (Jesus) who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Be our Savior, help and deliverer!
Take time this week as a family to praise and worship Jesus for all He has done, is doing, and is going to do in and through your life!
Closing prayer - God, I thank you for the times that I do not know my next step. I thank you because your Word says to trust you and to acknowledge my need for you and that you will set my paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) I thank you that I do not have to know everything and that you are my source. I thank you that you empower me when I am connected to you. (John 15:5) Hosanna!
Word from the Lord, 11.13.16- ”The heavens are open! The Heavens are open! The heavens have been open since the Day of Pentecost when I poured out My Spirit on My Church. A mighty river started to flow and has flowed through all generations since that day. Sometimes it has flowed underground and couldn't be seen but believers in every generation have been filled with My Spirit. The River is within My People! Lay hands on one another and pray for one another that you might be healed. Testify of what I have done among you to others that I might receive the Glory. Take my gift and release it to others that My Power might be seen in My Church. Take what happens inside out to the outside. I will receive Glory when My Power is released in My Church."
