Sermon title: Calling Out Fluffy, Lukewarm Christianity
Key verses: Revelation 3:14-22

14 And for The Messenger of the church in Laodicea write these things: “The Amen, the Faithful and True Testifier, The Ruler of God’s Creation says, 15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. Oh, that you were cold or hot. 16 Thus, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you are saying this: ‘I am rich’ and ‘I have become rich and I have no need,’ and you do not know that you yourself are the wretch, the miserable, and the poor, and the blind, and the naked, 18 I am advising you to buy from Me gold refined from the fire in order that you would be rich, and white clothes in order to wear and would never reveal the shame of your nakedness, and eye salve to anoint your eyes in order that you would see. 19 I Myself discipline as many as I would love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and I am knocking; if anyone would should hear my voice and open the door, I would also enter before him and I will eat with him and he himself with Me. 21 The one overcoming, I will give him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also have overcome and sit with My father on His throne. 22 The one having ears, let him hear. What is the Spirit saying to the churches?’”

This Week’s Questions from John Wesley

1) Did the Bible live in me today?

2) Do I give it time to speak to me every day?
