The outcomes of prayer and fasting

What can you expect?
Matthew 6:16-18 The Message (MSG)
16-18 “When you practice some appetite-denying discipline to better concentrate on God, don’t make a production out of it. It might turn you into a small-time celebrity but it won’t make you a saint. If you ‘go into training’ inwardly, act normal outwardly. Shampoo and comb your hair, brush your teeth, wash your face. God doesn’t require attention-getting devices. He won’t overlook what you are doing; he’ll reward you well.
When you Pray & fast these are some of the outcomes
1. Receiving direction
2. Receiving Wisdom and Revelation
3. Deliverance
4. Facilitating Deliverance for others or groups of people

Acts 9:7-9 NLT
The men with Saul stood speechless, for they heard the sound of someone’s voice but saw no one! 8 Saul picked himself up off the ground, but when he opened his eyes he was blind. So his companions led him by the hand to Damascus. 9 He remained there blind for three days and did not eat or drink.
[Without vision- physically and spiritually]
[3 day fast]
[In need of vision and direction]

Decisive turning points
religion without revelation
The way in which we facilitate people allows them to either stay in the same place, or step into the freedom and deliverance that God has ordained for them.
Decisive turning points
What are the outcomes?
-Because of Continual worship. She spent her life in God's house with God's people.
-Because of spending 84 years in Gods temple continually
-Because of night and day prayer and fasting.
It's a Heart and a Spirit that God wants to gives us as and outcome of prayer and fasting
Ephesians 1:15-23 New International Version (NIV)
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

The outcomes of prayer and fasting.
-Activating the freedom of others
-Caring for others in specific and varied ways. Food, clothes, roofs.
-Removing yokes and burdens
-Grace and Mercy

-Then your freedom and salvation
-Then you will call and He will answer
-Then your light will shine in the darkness
-Then you will be ready to rebuild cities and the people who inhabit
-Then you will be ready to be the reconcilers and restorers

You can expect this as a son and daughter.
