What's wrong with building a city?

What's wrong with humanity building a city? They were to fill the earth! Instead, the congregated together in one place.

Ziggurats - Thought to be places where the spiritual realm and the physical realm met together. They were used to call on various pagan gods.

The Tower of Babel was a Mesopotamian Ziggurat, and it was used to replace Yahweh with other gods.

1. When he divided all mankind
2. He set up boundaries [fixed the borders, ESV]
3. According to the number of the sons of God

1. When Yahweh God scattered mankind at the Tower of babel, He divided up the nations according to the number of the sons of God.
2. Yahweh gave specific sons of God a certain level of authority over the nations.
3. This is called the Deuteronomy 32 Worldview

Jesus, who is both human and God at the same time, came to take back the nations that were rightfully His!
