I believe we are going to experience a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in 2020!

Deuteronomy 11:13
‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,

This is not a time for casual Christianity.

The outpouring is for the transformed life.

Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The next movement of God is for consecrated Christians who are willing to be carriers of the glory.

The word consecrate means to make something sacred or Holy.

A consecrated life is one that seeks to bring honor to the name of Christ.

Consecration is being set apart for the service of God.

Consecration means sanctified thinking.

It’s a transformation!

The Greek word here is metamorphusthe.

Which is where we get our English word metamorphosis.

The transformation that Paul is talking about is from the inside out.

It begins must begin with the new mind.

Once the mind is renewed and transformed, the way is paved for us to become more and more like Jesus.

The mind is the source of both the thoughts and the actions of a person’s life.

Paul says that the mind must be renewed before a Christian can experience a transformed life.

This renewing literally means to have a new way of thinking.

The Greek word for renew is close to the word for resurrection.

A complete change for the better.

This act is only through the power of God in the Holy Spirit and it represents a complete change from one form to another.

Jesus didn’t save us to give us a better life.
He saved us to transformed us into His image.

If you’ve been waiting on Him for a breakthrough, let this be the year you reap an overflowing harvest from all your seeds of faith.

We need a fresh outpouring?

We need to become carriers of the glory.

We need the showers of blessings to soak us.

Joel 2:23
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

We need the rain, both the former rain and the latter rain together, in this dry and thirsty land.

So why does the Bible use the term "former and latter rain?"

In Israel the early rains came in the autumn (October-November) and the latter rain came in the spring (March-April).

It’s rain that makes things grow, isn’t it?

If you plant a seed, it needs a little rain to take hold; then it can begin to grow...
Then right before harvesting, a whole bunch of good ole’ rain makes sure that the crop is abundant!

God is already at work, pouring out the Holy Ghost rain upon his children.

James 5:7-8
7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

I’m ready for an outpouring.
Great change and manifest power.

Acts 2:1-4
1 When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

God promises to pour out his spirit upon you like a flood, both the early rain and latter rain together.

God’s rain is falling now!

The flood gates of Heaven are being opened and the unending power of the Holy Ghost is falling like never before so don’t miss out.

The thing about rain is that you can either get out and soak it all in OR.....you can run for cover.

We intend on seeing an outpouring right here in 2020.

Look at Joel 2:28-30
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.

The early rain and the latter rain together will be poured out on those who will allow the Holy Ghost to anoint and fill them.

Zechariah 10:1
Ask the LORD for rain
In the time of the latter rain.
The LORD will make flashing clouds;
He will give them showers of rain,
Grass in the field for everyone.

The latter rain represented an unprecedented outpouring of God’s blessings on Israel.

I hope this year, you can believe God for:

• Supernatural healings.

• An increase in anointing that will bring good success.

• Family blessings and the promise of days like heaven on earth.

• Restoration for all your lost years.

Let hope rise in your heart as you look forward to receiving God’s bountiful blessings in your life this 2020!

This is going to be our greatest year yet!
