EAR TICKLERS

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus who we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted…YOU MAY WELL PUT UP WITH IT!2 Corinthians 11:4 (NKJV)

WE SHOULD BE VACCINATED AGAINST HERESY

I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:2 Timothy 4:1 (NASB)
preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.2 Timothy 4:2 (NASB)
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,2 Timothy 4:3 (NASB)
and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.2 Timothy 4:4 (NASB)

VACCINATED AGAINST EVIL TRANSFERENCE

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.2 John 9 (NKJV)
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him: 2 John 10 (NKJV)
For he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.2 John 11 (NKJV)

The SPIRIT OF THE WORLD is the rejection by SOUND DOCTRINE by personal desires.

For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the WORD OF MEN, but as it is in truth, the WORD OF GOD, which also effectively works in you who believe. I Thessalonians 2:13 (NKJV)

THE DOCTRINES OF DEVILS

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,1 Timothy 4:1 (NASB)
by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,1 Timothy 4:2 (NASB)

• Beware of your UNHOLY AGREEMENT with the SPIRIT OF THE WORLD unwittingly SEDUCED by “ANGELS OF LIGHT” on television

These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.2 Corinthians 11:13 (NLT)
But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.2 Corinthians 11:14 (NLT)
So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.2 Corinthians 11:15 (NLT)

DEMONS PREACHING?

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

FALSE PROPHETS

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.1 John 4:1 (ESV)
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,1 John 4:2 (ESV)
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.1 John 4:3 (ESV)

• BELIEVERS accepting HERESY allow the DEMONIC to assume DOMINION over their minds.Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

SPIRIT OVER MIND

THE PROGRESSION OF SPIRITUAL DEATH

• Satan uses an “OCEAN OF TRUTH” to disguise a “DROP OF A LIE”, enough POISON to kill your FAITH.
• MIXTURE is the SEDUCTION PLAN of the SPIRIT OF THE WORLD to defile your CHRISTIANITY.
• BEWARE of DOCTRINES that are DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED to SCRIPTURAL TEACHINGS

HERESY

• HERESY is an “adherence to religious beliefs that are CONTRARY to SOUND SCRIPTURAL DOCTRINE.
• Not every disagreement or different opinion is HERESY, but DIVISIVE DEFIANCE of clear BIBLICAL TEACHING is HERETICAL.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.II Peter 2:1 (NKJV)

DISCERN HERESY

For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you.1 Corinthians 11:19 (NKJV)

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.II Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)

DISCERN APOSTASY

• APOSTASY is a DEFIANCE of an ESTABLISHED SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY.
• APOSTASY is a willful ABANDONMENT of SOUND DOCTRINE.
• TWO MAIN TYPES of APOSTASY:

1. A denial of true Biblical doctrines with proclaiming of “THE REAL CHRISTIAN TRUTH” of heresy.
2. A renunciation of CHRISTIAN FAITH with ABANDONMENT of Christ as LORD.

HUMANIZING JESUS and DEIFYING MAN

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.Jude 1:3 (NKJV)
For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.Jude 1:4 (NKJV)

WOLF OR SHEEP?

3. Does the ministry bring CONVICTION toward REPENTANCE?
