Pastor Jonathan talked about the importance of knowing the difference between a “pimple” and a “cancer” when dealing with problems. Why is this so important? What would happen if you used this simple way of clarifying which problems you're dealing with?

“Problems are a Process that bring Progress”. We openly want to make progress but without the process. Why is it that we struggle with anything that is a “process”?

Notice how the entire structure of what James is writing hangs on our choice to do what he tells us to do: “consider”, “let”. Why is it challenging to see that we have this choice when we face problems?

Discuss as a group the difference between “seizing” your problem and “being seized by it”.

Think of one problem you are currently facing and briefly share your answer to these questions:

- What is the opportunity hidden within this obstacle?
- What is one way you can maximize and make the most of this situation?
- How can you face this problem with a “Victory” mentality instead of as a “Victim”?
