Introduction to Series: Fresh Starts
Milestones are everywhere -- the first semester, the first week of a new job, the first client. Regardless of how old we are, we all have first days, new seasons, fresh starts.

God is ready to be engaged and involved in our fresh starts. The Old Testament is full of examples of God leading his people in new ways through new opportunities - both exciting and challenging.

This three-week series will help us see our fresh starts in light of God's direction, resources, and desire for our best.
1. Anticipate a God designed fresh start.
The new opportunities and new challenges are actually fresh starts that give us a chance to try something new and different. And we don’t need to do it alone or on our own. God is with us!

10 Best Pieces Of Advice For Making A Fresh Start

Since I write about time management, productivity, and leadership, I hear plenty of tips and new ways of thinking aimed at getting more out of life. Here are 10 of my favorite words of advice for starting anew... (Fast Company Magazine)
Reflection Questions
1. How do you think about new opportunities and challenges? Do you think of them as things that just happen or as things God is involved with, or a little of both?
2. What does it mean that God will not grow tired or weary?
3. Is there an area of your life that needs a new beginning?
4. How does vs. 28 inspire or motivate you to revisit that situation?

The Text In Context

With a focus on God's attributes, here is a different look at Isaiah 40:28-31 .
2. Be confident. You’ve got this!
We can trust that God is going to be with us and we are going to have what we need when we need it.
Reflection Questions
1. What would you get more involved with if you were more confident?
2. What would it look like for God to give you strength?
3. Can you think of a time when you got what you needed right when you needed it?
4. Can you think of an example in scripture of someone getting what they needed when they needed it?

3. Get ready for bigger things.
The thing we think we are doing may not be the actual thing we will be doing.
Reflection Questions
1. When have you been a part of one thing and have it lead to something bigger?
2. What does it actually mean to "soar on wings like eagles" or to "run and not grow weary?"
3. Have you ever experienced it?
4. In what situation right now would you like to soar and not grow weary?
