1. You are not condemned.

Romans 8:1-11

Conviction vs. Condemnation
Condemned: to pronounce guilty/sentence to punishment/to express judgment on/disapproval of
Conviction: to correct/convince with confidence something is wrong/right/strengthen your faith

John 16:8

A Jesus Breakthrough brings CONVICTION not CONDEMNATION.

John 8:11

2. You are not alone.
A Jesus Breakthrough says I'M ALL IN and not ALL ALONE.

Romans 8:12-17

Look at all the ways you are not alone in Christ:
V. 13 – Holy Spirit helps you put to death the deeds of the flesh
V. 14 – Sons of God
V. 15 – No longer slaves/no more fear
V. 15 – Adopted
V. 16 – Children/kids of the King
V. 17 – Heirs/glorified
God gave us the Holy Spirit.

John 14:16-27

Look at all the ways you are not helpless because of Christ:
V. 16-17 – The Helper
V. 18 – Not abandoned
V. 19-21 – Full disclosure
V. 23 – At home with Him
V. 26 – Teacher/Reminder
V. 27 – Peace
3. You are not hopeless.
Sin leaves us helpless/hopeless/always less than what God intends.

Romans 8:18-23

A Jesus Breakthrough turns HOPELESS into HOPEFUL.
Hope helps/heals/prays/causes all things to work for the good of those who love God.

Romans 8:24-30

4. Victor or victim: it’s a choice.

Romans 8:31-39

Look at all the ways you are victorious in Christ:
V. 31-33 – God is for us
V. 34 – Ultimately Jesus condemns, but only after proving His love for us
V. 35 – Nothing can separate us
V. 37 – We overwhelmingly conquer
V. 38 – Convicnced/convicted that God is bigger/better/stronger
V. 39 – Nothing can separate us from the love of God

John 3:16-17
