OMG Welcome to Church! There are so many churches you could have gone to, we are happy you are here!
You are in the Right place
At the right time
With the right people
To hear the right word from God!
Church Vision: Congdon Street Baptist Church strives to be a radically authentic community in New England. We strive to connect and strengthen families, new believers, and those who have walked away from the "Church" and show them the Love of Christ through prayer, worship, generosity, and bible study.
Church Mission: Congdon Streets Mission is share Christ with those who are far from God, and those who are seeking to strengthen their relationship with God. We accomplish our mission through radical prayer, authentic worship, intentional community, purposeful service and faithful generosity.
The Fruit of our mission will be seen in the ever-growing display of transformation in the lives of our members and everyone they encounter

Value 3: Purposeful Service
Radically pursuing what God has next for our Community. (Matt 5:6)
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
That we work for a divine reversal. That every person not only confesses Christ, but desires Christ because we as image bearers of Christ look and work purposely to do the work that Christ wants done.
What work? A work that is hungry for each and very person to never be subservient to social, political, educational, gender, sexual, religious norms that block the image of Christ but so that every person I encounter can be next to me when I make it to heaven and bow at the name of Jesus. It’s a divine reversal. Its a reversal of the values I’ve placed on a system that is subservient to the workmanship of Jesus
Liberation is not the destruction of other people. Liberation is living into the reality of my definition of Jesus. It is me purposely yearning to shock the dead systems of my faith back to life because when those systems and religious ethic are alive the systems of this world die.
The word Justice is the word dikaisune. Not righteousness but justice. This is not righteousness which denotes more of a individual piety, it is a holistic collective …that is social righteousness. Jesus had a holistic spirituality.
We are delivered to serve.
You were not delivered to Judge, you were delivered to serve!
May God kill your assumptions and raise the level of your anointing to care about their accelerated future to be with you in heaven
How?
Our core value is based on this scripture. That are a church that serves our community with a purpose. That we serve on purpose with a purpose for a purpose. That we want heaven to bust open with people because every opportunity we have to talk about Jesus we take advantage. That are take advantage with our hands to engage in our community. For us it is through two main emphasis
-The eradication of poverty - through homlessless, food justice, and economic sustainable justice
And
-Education Literacy - through Equity and access.
Jesus says blessed are them who are Hungry and Thirsty for Justice.
Who have you rejected from heaven on Christ Behalf?
What type of person have you rejected from heaven?
What generation have oyu rejected?
How?
-Doing what matters, not only whats popular.
-Save your anger for the mistreatment of others
-We are Not a monument, We are a movement

Give To Congdon Street
Why We Give Giving is an an act of worship and obedience from a heart surrendered to Christ ... a choice we make to follow God's instruction for us. Pastor Justin reminds us often that the Lord wants us to give from our hearts. God always honors and blesses obedience, we don't give to get. We give out of our need to act on our faith. God uses those resources for His glory and to further His Kingdom.

God, through the sacrifice of His Son, offers salvation and life to anyone who believes in Him. Salvation is a gift of grace not by works.Christians are people who believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when a person places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for their sin. Believing in Christ for salvation involves:
FAITH For by grace I am saved through faith.TRUST Letting go of my self-directed life to Christ's life.REPENTANCE Changing my mind and life direction.LORDSHIP Confessing Christ as my savior and lord.
