If you found yourself in the middle of a group of people arguing, would you most likely: A) take a side and join in... B) try to resolve it while remaining neutral... C) stay out of it all together?

*REMINDER: If you have babies or children in the nursery or kid’s church please do not silence your phone... please keep it handy. Our staff will text you to communicate any assistance needed in regards to your little ones.

1. Our church service will be moving off campus on August 18th for our Summer Picnic Luncheon! Due to parking issues with the PGA event that weekend, we will be holding service outdoors in Bensenville. (Location: Bev Neiswanger’s house, 16W487 2nd Ave, Bensenville.) It will, in fact, be the service we intended for the Dunes... with an amazing fire demo by Keith Cornier and his assistant Dominick Battista.

Baptism celebration is immediately after our service. Followed by our picnic with food, fellowship and a pool party!

2. Are you wanting to be baptized? It’s our favorite event here at Heartland! Our Baptism Church Service is scheduled for Sunday, Auguth 18th at 10:30am in Bensenville. Please see Pastor Rod for more details and to sign up to be baptized :)

3. Save the date! Heartland will be participating in the ‘Rise Up Against Addiction’ 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, Sept 6th! Please consider walking to support this cause that hits home with so many of us. Registration info coming soon. See Jason and Erica Cittadino for more info.

4.Have to miss church but don't want to miss the sermon message? Liked the message so much you want to share it or listen again? Great news! All messages are recorded and added to Heartland's website. (See link below to visit Heartland's webpage listing recent sermon messages.)

5. Heartland relies on the free GroupMe mobile group messaging app to keep our church more connected during the week! This PUBLIC group is a wonderful way for us to stay connected to each other regularly during the week. (See link below to be added to this group.)

Please visit this link to listen to Pastor Rod's most recent sermon messages.

We want to be more intentional about communicating important announcements and upcoming events. This will also provide a forum to share prayer requests and encourage one another in the Lord throughout the week.

Heartland Bible Church is an organic church where you can experience joy and laughter. It is a place where the Scriptures are taught in a way that encourages discussion and questions. It is also a place where the brokenhearted can find healing. We pray that Heartland Bible Church becomes a place where you encounter Jesus often. We are glad you're here!

If you tap “Save Event” you will have access to an archived version of this Event. Otherwise, each Event is only accessible for one week after its scheduled date. Our Events will be visible in Bible App Event location and search results at least 1 day prior to each church service. This will allow you to reflect on each week's Ice Breaker questions ahead of time. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you need technical help with this app. Thanks!
What is your response to today's message? Is there something you need to do differently? What is God speaking to you right now?
Heartland Bible Church is a discipleship-focused church that encourages each person to have an authentic relationship with God and with others. Our church is a return to a more intimate form of church. The vision for Heartland comes from the church described in the book of Titus, chapter 2, where mature followers of Christ mentored the younger generation of Christ followers.

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Acts 2:42
