1 John 2:18 (NLT)
18 Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come.

1. We are informed that many antichrists are on the loose.

1 John 2:19 (NLT)
19 These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us.

2. This alludes that people who no longer go to church have the spirit of antichrist.

a. why / how

Colossians 1:18 (KJV)
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

3. Leaving church is leaving His Body.

a. I didn’t write it, I just preach it

1 John 2:22 (NLT)
22 And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.

4. When people say Jesus is not the Christ, guess what spirit they have?

1 John 2:23 (NLT)
23 Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

5. Jesus said, “If you have seen me you have seen the father”.

1 John 4:3 (MSG)
3 And everyone who refuses to confess faith in Jesus has nothing in common with God. This is the spirit of antichrist that you heard was coming. Well, here it is, sooner than we thought!

6. This antichrist spirit is making the news again.

a. how

Daniel 7:25 (NLT)
25 He will defy the Most High and oppress the holy people of the Most High. He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws, and they will be placed under his control for a time, times, and half a time.

7. Talking about the antichrist, we read...

a. He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws

b. we start this study with Noah

8. The Talmud is a commentary of Jewish Law.

9. It records that Noah was given 7 Laws to govern humanity.

10. They are known as:

a. the Seven (Universal) Laws of Noah

b. Noahide Laws

c. in Hebrew: שבעמצוותבנינח Sheva Mitzvot B'nei Noach

11. They are a binding set of laws for the "children of Noah"

a. that is, all of humanity

12. These are:

1. Prohibition of Idolatry

2. Prohibition of Murder

3. Prohibition of Theft

4. Prohibition of Sexual Promiscuity

5. Prohibition of Blasphemy

6. Prohibition of Cruelty to Animals

7. Requirement to have Just Laws: You shall set up an effective judiciary to enforce the preceding six laws fairly.

13. But nothing is recorded in the Torah that Noah was given these laws.

a. or what we call the first five books of the Bible

b. but it is in the commentary, the Talmud

14. Fast Forward to today.

15. The Sanhedrin just announced a special meeting.

a. they have invited 70 nations to be involved

b. they will initiate the Noahide Laws...again

16. Netanyah was just re-elected for his 5th term.

17. In 2014, he declared that the Talmud ( sacred commentary)

a. will become the Law that governs Israel

18. In 1991, George W. Bush signed The Noahide Laws into U.S. Law.

19. The current Sanhedrin:

a. is pushing President Trump to uphold these laws

b. that President Bush (Senior) made into U.S. Law

20. At the same time, Muslims are trying to initiate Sharia Law in the U.S.

21. Both of these will have a profound effect on Christians.

22. Muslims forbid Christianity at the penalty of beheading.

23. If the Noahide law is enforced:

a. the Jews do not consider Jesus as the Messiah

b. so to them, according to the Noahide Law

c. Christians will be charged with practicing idolatry

d. if you say “God”, it is considered blasphemy

e. because the Jews do not say His full name

24. Similar to the Muslims having the death penalty if you talk about Allah.

Luke 12:11-12 (MSG)
11 "When they drag you into their meeting places, or into police courts and before judges, don't worry about defending yourselves—what you'll say or how you'll say it. 12 The right words will be there. The Holy Spirit will give you the right words when the time comes."

25. Both have their own court system to punish people.

26. Other than the Talmud, The Book of Jubilees:

a. generally dated to the 2nd century BCE

b. known as Lesser Genesis, written by Moses (?)

c. may include an early reference to Noahide Law

Book of Jubilees 7:20–28:
And in the twenty-eighth jubilee Noah began to enjoin upon his sons' sons the ordinances and commandments, and all the judgments that he knew, and he exhorted his sons to observe righteousness, and to cover the shame of their flesh, and to bless their Creator, and honour father and mother, and love their neighbour, and guard their souls from fornication and uncleanness and all iniquity. For owing to these three things came the flood upon the earth ... For whoso sheddeth man's blood, and whoso eateth the blood of any flesh, shall all be destroyed from the earth.

27. The only Scriptural references close to the Noahide Law is found in the New Testament:

a. not recognized by the Jews or the Muslims

Acts 15:20-21 (NLT)
20 Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood. 21 For these laws of Moses have been preached in Jewish synagogues in every city on every Sabbath for many generations.”

28. And also in...

Acts 15:29 (NLT)
29 You must abstain from eating food offered to idols, from consuming blood or the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. If you do this, you will do well. Farewell.”

29. The antichrist spirit is on the move again.

Matthew 5:10 (MSG)
10 "You're blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God's kingdom.

Revelation 22:11 (MSG)
11 Let evildoers do their worst and the dirty-minded go all out in pollution, but let the righteous maintain a straight course and the holy continue on in holiness."

Prayer of Salvation

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross to save me. You did for me what I could not do for myself and I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life. Lord, I love you. Help me to live everyday in a way that pleases you. Thank you that I will spend eternity with you.
Amen
