As we celebrate our freedom from tyranny as a nation, we also celebrate our freedom to serve Christ!

No nation can prosper for long if they do not live by the laws of God, and worship Him alone!
I’ve heard a lot of people lately fervently praying for revival…
· “Revival” Definition: Revival refers to a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a church congregation or society, with a local, national or global effect.

We know what the Word says, so why aren’t we doing it?
When we are distracted by our own spiritual battles, we become merely “Hearers of the Word”, not doers.
· So, how can I tell if I’m under attack when it’s time to fight back?
In keeping with the “Battle” theme, I call it “Walking the Perimeter”.
· You’ve studied your enemy
· You’ve prepared your defenses
· It’s time to look for weakness in your preparation
The danger of complacency…

Assess yourself with humility…
· Romans 12:3

Look for places the enemy can sneak in…
· Scripture tells us the most likely hiding place…

What are we looking for?

What is the evidence of spiritual attack?
We should be able to respond to life events with the fruit of the spirit…

How do we change it?
· Galatians 5:16-17
How can we avoid the temptation to hide the truth?
· Walk in the light…

· Confess your sin to deny the devil a place to hide!
· 1 John 2:1-6

Paul gives us the best way to know where we stand…

We have the mind of Christ to resist conforming to the World, align with His purposes, and help to usher in a revival until Christ returns.
