Yeah, But...
How many times in life do we know what God’s will is regarding something, but we make excuses for doing things our own way? How many times do we hear about what God says about sex, words, time, and money and say “Yeah, but...I think I’m going to do things my own way”. By looking at what the Bible clearly says about these four areas and discussing some of the lies the world wants us to believe, we can better prepare our hearts and minds to follow God’s will for our lives.

Our sin separates us from God.
God intended sex to be between one man and one woman in the marriage bed - period.
Excuse #1: Yeah, but… It’s my body, so I can do what I want.
Excuse #2 - Yeah, but…. I’m just following my heart!
If following Jesus Christ doesn’t make you look any different than those who aren’t following Jesus Christ, you might want to check your spiritual GPS.
Excuse #3: Yeah, but… Jesus died for my sins, so it doesn’t matter what I do.
Temptation is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of whose STRENGTH we need to rely on!
When we are in Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have all that we need to be obedient to what He is calling us to
Because Jesus died and rose for my sins and conquered sin and death, I have the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome temptation.
