Last Week's Take Aways:
Take Away: We come across people every day who need a helping hand in one way or another. To help and serve them is an attribute of Christ.

Take Away: We can easily rationalize passing up a person who needs our help and in doing so we rob them of experiencing Jesus through us.

Take Away: When faced with the decision to help or not help, we can choose to be self-preserving or we can take a risk that could make all the difference for the person we’re helping. It could make an eternal difference.
A. The Problem with Samaritans.
TAKE AWAY:
God looks at us through the lens of Jesus Christ and what He’s done for us through the work of the Cross. We should do the same with others.
B. Jesus Demonstrates Love for All
TAKE AWAY:
We must look past our prejudices and strive to see people as God sees them. People are created in the image of God and each is worthy of our love and grace. Not just some, but all.

C. Compassion Isn't Just a Spiritual Gift
TAKE AWAY:
Jesus has done the same for us. He’s saved us from our situation (sin) and made a way for us to recover (forgiveness). Jesus has lavished His love and compassion upon us. We should do the same for others.
