Time To Possess The Land
Ephesians 4:1
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
What God is doing is local but it is also global.
Let’s possess the land.
Ezekiel 22:29-30
29 "The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. 30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.
I believe God wants to heal the land.
God is looking for someone to possess the land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
I believe God wants us to possess the land.
We are to take ownership and stewardship of our territory.
We are to take dominion over darkness.
We are to bring the government of God to the earth.
The church has the power to bring the blessing to the city.
I believe God wants you and I to possess the land and take the territory.
Luke 19:41-46
41 Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 "For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 "and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation." 45 Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it, 46 saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.' "
I am determined to keep this house a house of prayer.
I am also determined to possess the land that God has given us and make a difference in our city.
We have got to see things with a bigger perspective.
We serve a big God.
God has put everything that you and I need into the land.
Scarcity in lack are a man-made condition.
God did not create anything in lack.
Lack is a man made situation.
Everything God made He made enough of.
God is more than enough not just enough or almost enough.
God has put into the land everything that is needed to prosper the people who live on that land.
The blessing comes to the land.
God said He will send rain in the land.
It’s only when man breaks covenant with God that the land has to respond with lack.
Jesus wept over the city then He went to the Church as though the Church has something to do with the direction of the city.
The church is the key to the salvation of our cities.
I believe if our cities are to be blessed the power of that blessing resides in the Church.
Joshua 1:3 "Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
If your feet are in this city.
God wants you to have dominion.
Any place you occupy the devil cannot occupy.
If the devil is occupying something, it’s because someone who understands authority isn’t standing there.
When we realize God has placed us in this territory to be a blessing.
God want us to have authority and take dominion over darkness and drive it out.
God wants you and I to possess the land.
Leviticus 26:3-9
3 'If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, 4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. 7 You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. 8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you. 9 'For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.
Deuteronomy 28:12
"The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
The only time there is ever a problem with lack is when there is a break with covenant with God.
When there is a break in the covenant the land has to respond with lack.
When you and I respond in covenant the land will respond with increase.
It’s time to possess the land.
We are to possess everyplace the sole of our foot touches.
Deuteronomy 11:24-27
24 "Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. 25 "No man shall be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you. 26 "Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 "the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today;
We are not here in this city by accident.
We have an assignment to possess this land.
The harvest is waiting on the harvesters.
Luke 10:2
Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
We need a big vision for our city.
We need a global vision.
We need eyes for the harvest.
Naples Fl is not big enough for God and the devil.
Numbers 33:51-53
51 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 52 'then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their high places; 53 'you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess.
This is the call to the New Testament church.
We are supposed to be taking territory and possessing the land.
We are to drive out the enemy.
