The Elder's House
There is a growing need for a safe haven for an increasing number of our teens who, unfortunately, live in an environment that is not conducive to achieving their goals. In response to this growing need, and our personal desire to see children achieve in life, it is our desire to build and/or purchase a home to house, nurture, and provide direction and spiritual guidance to teens until they are able to graduate from high school and, prayerfully, attend college, enroll in the military, or otherwise embark on a path to a bright future. Thus, The Elder’s House has been birthed.

(Why is this Happening to Me?)
Genesis 32:22-32 NLT
Behavioral Objective: The Believer will understand that God will take them through a process of developing their faith that thought difficult it will prepare them for destiny.
1. Designing My Intimacy- 22 During the night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two servant wives, and his eleven sons and crossed the Jabbok River with them.23 After taking them to the other side, he sent over all his possessions.24 This left Jacob all alone in the camp…
2. Developing My Endurance- 24 This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break.
3. Displaying My Impairment -25 When the man saw that he would not win the match, he touched Jacob’s hip and wrenched it out of its socket. 31 … and he was limping because of the injury to his hip.32 (Even today the people of Israel don’t eat the tendon near the hip socket because of what happened that night when the man strained the tendon of Jacob’s hip.)
4. Discerning My Identity- 27 “What is your name?” the man asked. He replied, “Jacob.” 28 “Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the man told him. “From now on you will be called Israel,[a] because you have fought with God and with men and have won.”
