Groove Sunday Morning Kids Ministry (Saturday)
Today in Kid City: (Saturday, April 20th)
Today our preschoolers and kindergarteners will hear the incredible, true story of Easter from Olly the owl and his friends! After hearing the great news of Jesus, we have an exciting egg hunt planned for them!
Our 1st-5th graders will be watching the Emotional News Network (ENN) report on the events surrounding Jesus’ death. Just when it seemed like all hope had been lost, the news team witnesses something amazing!
Following this astonishing news report, kids will make glow in the dark slime to remind them that hope means we can believe that something good can come from something bad.

Groove kids ministry is every Sunday morning at 9:00, 10:15, & 11:30 for kids from nursery-5th grade.
This month our nursery, preschool, and kindergarten kids are learning that Jesus is my friend! Their memory verse is Proverbs 17:17(NIrV).
Easter (Matthew 26:20-30; 27:45-50; 28:1-7) – God sent Jesus to be my friend forever.

Summer Rooted - Registration Now Open
Rooted is an opportunity to connect with God, the church, and your purpose in unexpected life-changing ways. Summer registration opens April 14th! Summer dates are: May 19th through July 28th with sessions on Sundays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Join us Friday, April 26 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in The Plaza for an evening of entertaining art and appetizers. You will go home with a painting you can call "uniquely yours". Our instructor will guide you through the step by step process to recreate the night's painting. It's easy, fun, and totally stress free. By the end of the night you will be amazed at the artwork you have created!

Summer Missions Opportunities
A mission to serve will be offered every Wednesday during June and July. For more information contact Kathy Eihusen.
June 5th - Hope Harbor: Start Time 5:30 PM
We will be planting flowers, laying down mulch and working on drainage. Bring your shovels and rakes. Children age 10 and older are welcome with a parent. Supper will be provided.
June 12th - Mercy Meals: Start Time 6:30 PM
We will bag up meals to be sent over seas at 409 N. Shady Bend Rd. Children are welcome with a parent. Please contact Kathy Eihusen (308-379-5864) if you can attend as there is minimum number needed to do this event. Cost is $30/person.
June 19th - Hope Harbor: Start Time 4:00 PM
We are putting together a playground set! Come when you can with tools as we will need a lot of help! Supper will be provided.
June 26th - TCCC: Start Time 6:30 PM
Let's make our church property look good! We will meet to pick up trash in the open fields before the Heartland Celebration of Freedom.
