Life isn’t always easy. When life is hard it opens us to questions we hoped we’d never have to ask. Yet, even when life leaves us feeling lost, confused, betrayed, abandoned, unjustly treated, and broken...
· there’s a beacon in the storm,
· there’s a light to lead the way,
· there’s a hope we can hang on to.
How do you react when someone treats you unfairly?
The injustices done in this world can cause us to react with even greater injustice toward others, and it becomes a vicious cycle of pain and frustration.

So, what do we do?
The Bible tells us that we have a God who will help us in our time of trouble.
The Bible tells us that we have a God who will help us in our time of trouble.
Because Jesus gave his life to open the way back to God, he is able to meet us in the midst of our deepest fears and our greatest suffering, and help us as no other can.
The risk: When life gets hard, and when people treat us unfairly, we are tempted to doubt God. We are tempted to what the bible calls “unbelief.”
The question is whether, in the midst of life’s challenging circumstances:
· Will we run to the light or away from it?
· Will our circumstances will drive us to Jesus or lead us away from him?

What happens IN you is more important than what happens TO you.
Grow BETTER not BITTER.
Grow BETTER not BITTER.
What you DO is more important than how you FEEL.
Doing the right thing isn't always the thing that makes us feel good at the moment.

Actions lead, feelings follow.
What do we do?
"Love your enemies."
1. Return good for evil.
2. Pray for those who persecute you.
3. Trust in God to vindicate you.
