What is the “treasure” that has been entrusted to us by God that we are called to invest and to multiply?
Because we are made in the image of God,
· and we have the capacity for relationship with God,
· and to reflect the heart and character of God,
· we have the dawning realization that we are designed to be carriers of the Spirit of God into the world.

There are NOT some spiritual gifts that determine if someone is a Christian or not.
We are empowered, by the Holy Spirit,
NOT AS SOMETHING WE EARN BUT, IN GOD’S GRACE, AS A GIFT TO US.

For Paul, the focus is NOT on the variety of gifts but on the fact that every gift is a manifestation of the SAME Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Gifts are not spiritual superpowers that we possess on our own.
They are the evidence of the presence and power of the Spirit of God working through us to be a blessing to others.
The “gift” IS the Holy Spirit.
