Joy was given by the Holy Spirit.

Joy – is the confident assurance of God’s love and work in our lives.

You can lose your Joy.

Joy truths:

• Trust and joylessness can’t coexist.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (Phil. 4:4)

• Maintaining joy is a key component of spiritual warfare.
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Neh. 8:10)

• A church that is blessed by God is joyful.
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 13:52)

What to do if I am low on Joy:

• Ask God to fill you with Joy
Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. (Psalm 86:4)

• Ask God to restore Joy
Restore to me the joy of your salvation (Psalm 51:12)
