Have you ever found yourself in a peaceful situation without any peace?
Have you been in an ideal situation, place your head on the pillow, but your mind would not stop racing? Have you been at a celebration but a burden or decision kept you from celebrating?
If it can be difficult to find peace in an ideal situation, how much more is it to find peace in regular life or even when we are facing a storm?

If it can be difficult to find peace in an ideal situation, how much more is it to find peace in regular life or even when we are facing a storm?
Jesus gives us some life lessons on how to find true peace:
- Just because the path is difficult does not mean we turn back. There seems to be a growing misunderstanding in Christianity that if God called me to something it should be easy.
- The disciples were afraid of the storm, but they were frozen in fear when Jesus muzzled the storm. We need a heathy fear and reverence of God.
- There were two miracles in the boat :
1.) Jesus calming the storm.
2.) Jesus sleeping in the midst of the storm.
