Calling all airmen! Taste of Home, Cajun Style– 28 Feb
CES will be hosting a Cajun theme Taste of Home at 1800 on 28 Feb, at the Friendship Chapel. Come for a hearty home-cooked meal.
AWANA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We are in need of teachers for our Sparks and Trek classes for the AWANA program. Sparks is grades K-2. Trek is grades 6-8. If you are interested in helping, please contact Marie Davis at Yokota.prot.red@gmail.com
FUEL (Protestant young Adults)- New Study on Song of Solomon
FUEL (Singles and Young Marrieds) has started a new relationship focus for part of their study time. They will be going over Tommy Nelson’s “Song of Solomon.” It is a great look at dating/courting, intimacy, sexuality in marriage and other important relationship topics—all Biblically based. Perfect for singles wanting to get married or young married couples looking to increase your knowledge on what God desires for marriage. FUEL meets at 6PM in the Airman Ministry Center (in the Yujo) every Tuesday! Contact Ch Kelly Stahl for more information (kelly.stahl.2@us.af.mil).

We invite all women to fellowship and Bible study each week: Tuesdays, 1800 at the East Chapel and Wednesdays, 0915 at the Friendship Chapel (breakfast provided and childcare available). Check out available studies on www.facebook.com/pwocyokota.
Protestant Advisory Council Meeting– 7 March at 1200
The Protestant Advisory Council will be meeting on Thurs, 7 March at 1200 at the Friendship Chapel. If you would like to attend to be a voice for your service and chapel community, we would love to have you! Lunch will be provided.
Mark Your Calendars! Bowling Party following Unity Service– 24 March
On Sunday, 24 March we will be spotlighting our Children and Youth ministries at the 1100 Unity Service. Then after service, we will head over to Tomodachi Lanes for fellowship over Thai food and bowling! Also, wear your “I Love My Chapel” T-Shirt, or grab one if you haven’t yet (everything is free of charge for the whole family) There will be no 1700 service this day.

Spotlight of the Week: Christopher, Sarah, Sophia, Lillian, Abigail, Grace, and Christopher II Goewert
Where are you from/call home? We are originally from St Louis, Missouri.
What do you all do? Chris is currently the Deputy SJA at the base legal office while I (Sarah) stay home with the children. I am also co-coordinator of the Yokota MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group. Sophia is 11, Lillian is 9, Abigail is 7, Grace is 5, and Christopher II is 3. All the kids go to Mendel Elementary school except Christopher II.
What service do you attend? I attend the traditional service and Chris attends the 5pm mass.
What are yours/and your family's hobbies and interests? We enjoy traveling and exploring. Also, baking and cooking and spending family time together.
