II. What...is a Church for Monday?
Takes up the Cross of Jesus - we trust Jesus with everything and are willing to risk everything to know and follow Jesus...Most Christianity I have encountered in this world is safe. Jesus is not safe.
Put on the Yoke of Jesus - we don’t just listen to Jesus, but practice with Jesus - and in that practice we expect to become like Jesus
Builds their life on the Scriptures - we see the world through the lens of the Bible
Loves His Church - we are deeply committed to Jesus’ church
Seeks the Good of the City - we give ourselves away to our neighbors, city and world
Seek the good of the city - we need to help you find a way to share faith that works on Mondays...that connects with people...
Seek the good of the city - by working diligently for the flourishing of all

III. How..a Church for Monday?
"The new life into which we are baptized is lived out in days, hours, and minutes. God is forming us into a new people. And the place of that formation is in the small moments of today… We tend to want a Christian life with the dull bits cut out. Yet God made us to spend our days in rest, work, and play, taking care of our bodies, our families, our neighborhoods, our homes. What if all these boring parts matter to God? What if days passed in ways that feel small and insignificant to us are weighty with meaning and part of the abundant life that God has for us?"
