If you understand Christmas is about miracles and giving, this is a worship service you won't want to miss. We will have a traditional candlelight service and opportunities to serve. Pastoral Visits
We are blessed with two pastors who have been meeting anybody with questions about their faith and/or how to live into it. If you have been talking to somebody like this and feel like you need more help, you can offer them a visit from the pastors of First United Methodist Church of YC. After asking permission from this seeker, please write their name, address, contact phone number, and your name on one of the prayer cards and leave it in the offering plate, or prayer box next to the sound booth.
Scrip Fundraising
Scrip fundraising is a program that allows families to raise money for the Church by using gift cards, or scrip, to pay for everyday purchases the same way as cash. Available in the Narthex at the Scrip Table.
Youth Group
We have incredible mid-week gatherings for our youth where they can experience Fun, Fellowship, and Games with a Message.
JV - open to students in Middle School, Youth Trailer

Varsity - open to students in 9th grade and higher, Youth Trailer

The last youth night of the month is fun night creating an opportunity to invite your friends.

Youth Sunday
- During both services, 8:30 and 11am, our youth have an opportunity to shine and serve our congregation by leading them in worship.
- On January 20th, youth are needed to greet, usher, lead singing, share Children’s Message, share testimonies, share announcements, and lead prayer.
- We will have a rehearsal Monday, January 14th in the Sanctuary so all will be comfortable serving.
- There will be also a time in which all can celebrate the ministry and fun they had in the past year.

Office Volunteers Needed!!
The office is in need of volunteers to greet those coming to the office, answer telephones, & to work on the computer. Volunteers on Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoons are especially needed. Training is available. If you feel you can help with this ministry to the public and our congregation, please contact the office at 673-5858.
Christmas Eve Blessing
All are encouraged to participate in our Christmas Eve Blessing by bringing a tray of their favorite goodies to the morning services on Sunday, December 23rd. On Monday, December 24th after our service, you will be able to pick up a tray of goodies to give to someone who is working that evening on your way home. Examples of places to bless include: law enforcement stations; fire stations; skilled nursing facilities, nurse’s stations at Rideout, senior/assisted living facilities, convenience stores, and gas stations.
