The First King-Size Bed
On this third Sunday of Advent, our pastor continues his Christmas sermon series called, "Just the Right Size!" Jesus is the perfect Christmas gift, and this month we're discovering why. Today Bro. Larry will help us explore what it means that Jesus was "born King."

Twice in the Scriptures Jesus, in His earthly life, is referred to as "King of the Jews": at the time of His birth and at the time of His death. When He was born, He was called a king. And when He died, He was called a king.
What does it mean that Jesus is King? He was born Sovereign King but also Savior King.
What does it mean to live with Jesus as your King? The shepherds help us understand that it means to seek Him, to find Him, and to be forever changed by Him. The Wise Men help us understand, also, that it means to worship Him.
Only a rebel's heart would say, "No," to the lordship of Christ. But that's just it--we're all born into a rebel's army against the Lord. We're all born hostile to the holiness of God. But there's Good News! "There is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Do you know Him? This Jesus who was "born King"?
