Distinction: a distinguishing difference, something that sets you APART!
Mark: Something that exactly succeeds in achieving its goal, the impression created by doing something unusual or extraordinary that people notice and remember, a distinguishing symbol,

We are doing 2 things when we lament and cry out for our nation’s sin:
1. We are walking out our actual calling while grabbing ahold of God’s attention by crying out for salvation & deliverance

2. We are setting a standard that we refuse to make “normal” what is not normal! We refuse to be desensitized by the sin all around us and push back the lines of right and wrong!
Psalm 4:3
“But understand this: the LORD has set apart the godly for himself! The LORD will hear me when I cry out to him!”

Luke 18:20-24
“You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother.’a ”
21“All these have I kept from my youth,” he said.
22On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
23But when the ruler heard this, he became very sad, because he was extremely wealthy.
24Seeing the man’s sorrow, Jesus said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. 25Indeed, it is easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Sealed: means “Marked by God,” meaning determined irrevocably!!
The Hebrew letter, Tau, the last letter in the alphabet means “MARKED.” It is written in the shape of tau or T, interpreted and representing the crucifix or the cross!
