Our Father who art in heaven - Part 1 of 6

God is the Perfect Father!

"God is not the reflection of your earthly father. God is the perfection of your earthly father." - Louie Giglio
God is "Our Father," we don't do this alone, we need each other, and it's not all about "Me" & "My". But it's "Our" journey together.

God is "Our Father." We have an intimate personal relationship with Him. He loves us more than we could ever possibly imagine. He longs to have a personal relationship with His children.

God is in "Heaven." Heaven is the air we breathe, it's watching over us and it extends to the farthest reaches of the universe. God's presence is as near as our next breath and as far away as the distant star. His glory fills the universe!

"Hallowed is His name." He is holy and to be revered & respected. And it is His name we seek to bring glory to, not our own.

1. Preparing Ahead Workshop. It isn’t something we want to think about. It seems to be at the bottom of our To-Do List. We know we are going to die, but like Scarlet, “I’ll think about that tomorrow.” Well, you may leave your loved ones scrambling to figure out where the key to the safe deposit box is kept, cremation or burial, insurance policies, checking account information, and on, and on, and on. Larry Laske has compiled a vast amount of information to get you organized. He will offer this workshop, free of charge, to you and your spouse or executor, on Saturday, July 23. Begin now to make plans for the inevitable and also to attend this workshop.

2. Join our choirs at the Gwinnett Braves Game on Friday, July 15, and support them as they sing the National Anthem. Then, this family fun night becomes also a church family fun time, as well. Come on, let’s go to a ball game!

3. Your worship guide today lists the current food items needed for our House of Bread Food Pantry. Pick up a grocery sack as you leave the building and bring it back full of these much needed items.
