Babel - Humanity full of themselves.
Pentecost - Humanity full of God.

Babel - The destruction of the tower.
Pentecost - The foundation of the church.

Babel - Scattered to tell of God's anger.
Pentecost - Scattered to tell of God's grace.

Bethlehem – God WITH us.
Calvary – God FOR us.
Pentecost – God WITHIN us.

The Holy Spirit is not an idea to be contained but a person to be received.

You cannot catch the wind, but you can be caught by it.

There has been a silent divorce in the church... between the Word and the Spirit. When there is a divorce, sometimes the children stay with the mother, sometimes with the father. In this divorce you have those on the Word side and those on the Spirit side... But if these two would come together, the simultaneous combination would mean spontaneous combustion.
