Make an IMPACT

The Bible teaches us that tithing is an act of obedience and that we should trust God with every aspect of our lives, which also includes our finances. Sacrificing a portion of our income helps us look beyond ourselves and makes us more aware of the needs of others. We offer many ways for you to make an IMPACT and give back. Take a look at some of the options below

Does the way I treat people on Monday look like the God I worship on Sunday?
You can worship God and still miss God.
The purpose of worship is to behold, adore and honor the Lord. To offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Him. Because what we behold, we become. And that’s why true worship transforms us.
— Liz McClintic
God never intended worship to be an escape from the world.
Worship is supposed to shape how we live in the world.
You can go to church and still have a heart that is far from Him.
No amount of worship participation can compensate for a disobedient life.
You can know what is right and still refuse to do what is right.
justice — mishpat (mish-pawt'): Judgment, justice, ordinance, law, right
righteous living — tsedaqah (tsed-aw-kaw'): Righteousness, justice, rightness
How you treat others is the indicator light of how well you understand the gospel.
— Sean Kelly
Action Steps

1. Identify One Person
Think of one person you’ve been avoiding, judging, ignoring, or struggling to love. Pray for them—and take one step toward them.

2. Make It Right
Ask God to show you one relationship where your actions haven’t matched your worship. Apologize, forgive, reconcile, or have the conversation you’ve been putting off.

3. Notice Someone
This week, intentionally look for someone who is hurting, overlooked, or in need. Do something practical to care for them—with no expectation of getting anything in return.

Simple challenge: See someone. Love someone. Do something.
