MADE TO MOVE: Worship

MADE TO MOVE: Worship

You weren’t designed to coast. Coasting feels safe, But safety is not why you were made. Something in you is made to move—and God is calling it to life.

WEEK 2
How do we keep from being couch potato christians?
We were made to move, so what do we do when we get stuck?
We CONNECT
We WORSHIP
Worship is an act of devotion.
What are you devoted to this morning?

Here are some other truths about worship that we see in Romans 12.
WE ARE THE OFFERING
We sacrifice ourselves
What needs to die?
WORSHIP LEADS TO CHANGE
We sacrifice the status quo
Christ worship is about sacrificing our desires, allowing God to transform our desires into His desires.
What needs to change?
WORSHIP MOVES US FORWARD
We sacrifice our past
Our worship OF God is a way of living FOR God.
What does God want me to do?
WORSHIP CONQUERS EVIL
We sacrifice our fear and our apathy

LET JUSTICE ROLL

This is a version of the song that Brad sang this morning.
