1) What stood out to you from Sunday's Teaching?
2) Read Isaiah 43:16-21.
- Verses 16-17 describe God remembering the Exodus, but verse 18 says "forget the former things; do not dwell on the past." How do you hold both of those at once, honoring your history without being stuck in it?
- Verse 19 says God is making "a way in the wilderness." Where do you feel like you're currently in a wilderness season, personally or as part of this church, and where are you starting to notice a way opening up?
- God provides for the jackals and owls, creatures that live in the harshest, most overlooked places, before things ever get easier. Can you think of a time God showed up for you in a hard season, before things actually improved? What did that provision look like?
