THE WORD @ JESUS' BIRTH
• All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel.” (Matthew 1:22–23)
• In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father.... (John 1:1, 14)

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. . . . “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.” (Jeremiah 31:31, 33)
