MESSAGE OUTLINE Faith is confidence in God’s promise even as we wait for its fulfillment. (Hebrews 11:1-2) Faith trusts that what you can’t yet see is still going to be. Two essentials to running the race of faith with perseverance: 1. We throw off every hindrance.will still 2. We fix our eyes on Jesus. Who is Jesus? He is the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
Two reasons why eyes fixed on Jesus lead to a persevering faith: 1. You see the victory of Jesus to secure the prize for your faith 2. You see the determination of Jesus to secure the prize for your faith. Our sanctification leads us to throw off every hindrance and fix our eyes on Jesus.
