What does following Jesus require of me?

Am I being faithful to God in the way I love my spouse?
LOOK AT JESUS
He takes the towel.

Did Jesus wait until His disciples deserved the towel?
TAKE THE TOWEL HOME
Main Point:
Because I have been served by Christ, I am free to serve my spouse.
Verse to Memorize:
Mark 10:45 — “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
What now?
Look at Jesus, then take the towel.
Reflect:
1. Where am I most tempted to keep score, waiting for my spouse to go first before I will serve, forgive, listen, or change?
2. If I asked my spouse, “Where do you see unholiness in my life?” would I be willing to hear the answer without
defending myself?
This Week:
Choose one specific way to contribute to the welfare of your spouse this week. Take the towel and serve without keeping
score or expecting something in return.
