Call to Worship
Leader: It seemed a wearisome task,

ALL: until we went into the sanctuary of God

Leader: You guide us with your counsel;

ALL: And afterward you receive us to glory.

Leader: Who do we have in heaven but you?

ALL: And there is nothing on earth that we desire besides you.

Leader: Our flesh and our heart may fail.

ALL: But God is the strength of our heart and our portion forever.

Father, we praise you for all you have done, are doing,
and will do in this space,
It exists for your glory. Lord, Hear Our Prayer

Jesus, In this place may God’s love be shared,
God’s will be found,
and may all who enter find true rest
and peace in Jesus. Lord, Hear Our Prayer

Holy Spirit, Within these walls,
may strangers be welcomed,
the lost be found,
crushed souls be consoled,
and the sounds of children always be embraced. Lord, Hear Our Prayer

Father, Remind us:
we worship in order to be sent,
and to embody your faithful presence to the watching world. Lord, Hear Our Prayer

Jesus, bless this building from roof to floor,
from beam to beam,
from end to end,

Holy Spirit, as you inhabit our praises - comfort, convict and guide us.
As you draw those far from you, give us prayers, words, and a welcoming presence
