1. A covenant weld
"In this form of the covenant, I call you again to witness that God demands nothing, asks not price, demands no payment, but to the people with whom he enters into covenant he makes promise after promise, all free, all unconditional, all made according to the bounty of his royal heart.”
-Charles Spurgeon

2. The Cross is God's Weld
3. An Informed and Empowered Covenant

Main Point
God's covenant with us through Christ is the foundational relationship to illuminate all other relationships including informing and empowering our marriages.
Verse to memorize
Psalm 111:5b “he remembers his covenant forever”
What now?
If I want healthier relationships, I must first learn to live in the covenant Christ has made with me rather than treating relationships as transactions
Reflect
1. Read Jeremiah 31:33-34 are you resting in the Covenant God has made or trying to hold your place in his favor by treating it more like a contract?
2. What would it look like to love as Christ has loved me?
This week
Serve rather than demand, act in love rather than from feelings.

Give Online
Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
