We want to help connect you with others at The River! Whether it's doing things with people who have similar interests and hobbies, joining a Bible study or Small Group, or serving, contact our Director of Connections and Small Groups at leslie@hittheriver.com for more information.

Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?
Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com.

September 7- Our church office will be closed in observation of Labor Day.

September 8 – Ladies Book Club
Due to Labor Day falling on the first Monday of the month, we will meet on Tuesday, September 8th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Join us by the fireplace at Garver Family Farm Market to discuss This Tender Land by William Kent Krueger.

Reminder: The JOY group will not meet in September.

September 11 – Game Night
After a few months off, we are ready to get back to game night! We have plenty of games to choose from, but feel free to bring your favorites. Light appetizers will be provided; you are welcome to bring a snack to share. Join us at 6:30 pm at the McGaffins – 6144 Dunmore Drive, West Chester, OH 45069

September 12 – Youth Serve Day
Meet at the church at 11:30 am to ride together to the Village Food Pantry in Hamilton. This is a great opportunity for students to put their faith into action by serving others! If you have any questions, contact ty@hittheriver.com.

Help support our Guatemala Mission Team!
Donation bins are located in the church lobby for the following items:
Socks (kids' sizes, adult small)
Underwear (kids' sizes, adult small & medium)
Small fleece blankets

September 16 – Ladies’ Bible Study
Ladies, join us for a 10-week Bible study this fall starting Wednesday, September 16th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. We will meet weekly to study "Joshua: Every Good Promise Fulfilled" by Jen Wilkin.

September 27 – Groundbreaking Celebration & Outdoor Service at 10:30 am
Invite your friends and family to join us for a special day of worship and celebration! Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and pack a picnic lunch. We'll have refreshing Italian ice available for everyone! Families are encouraged to worship together, as River Kids and Anchor Youth classes will not meet.

October 2 – Unshakable Women's Conference
An evening gathering of women seeking Jesus, overcoming life's challenges and growing resilient through encouraging messages, worship and community. Event begins at 7:00 pm and doors open at 6:30 pm. The after party includes late night appetizers, bonfire & s'mores, fellowship and fun! This is a regional event and tickets are $5 each. Ticket pre-sale available on Sundays in the cafe. October 18- Equipping to serve and influence others
Ever felt unsure how to guide a conversation, keep a group moving forward, or bring out the best in the people around you? Join us for a one-time class focused on building confidence and strengthening your skills in group settings. You'll gain practical tools for communication, collaboration, decision-making, and positively influencing others. Whether you're serving in a ministry area, leading a small group, or simply want to grow in how you engage with others, this interactive session is for you!
When: Sunday, October 18, from 9:00 – 10:00 am (during the first service)
