Make an IMPACT

The Bible teaches us that tithing is an act of obedience and that we should trust God with every aspect of our lives, which also includes our finances. Sacrificing a portion of our income helps us look beyond ourselves and makes us more aware of the needs of others. We offer many ways for you to make an IMPACT and give back. Take a look at some of the options below

Inattentional Blindness.
We don't exist to attend church. We exist to advance a mission.
God is doing something IN us... preparing us for what He wants to do THROUGH us.
He was associating with such sinful people, even eating with them!
Jesus didn’t let someone’s distance from God determine His distance from them.
“Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you. I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”
Distance from God Never Diminishes Someone’s Value to God
Action Steps for this Week:
Following Jesus changes more than what we believe, it changes the way we see and move toward the people around us. This week, put it into practice…

1. SEE SOMEONE YOU’VE BEEN MISSING.
Slow down enough to actually notice the people God has already placed around you. Learn a name. Ask a question. Listen to someone’s story.

Don’t look for a project… start seeing people.

2.MOVE TOWARD SOMEONE YOU MIGHT NORMALLY AVOID.
Jesus didn’t let someone’s distance from God determine His distance from them.

Share a meal. Grab coffee. Start a conversation. Spend time with someone whose life, beliefs, or story may be different from yours.

Let them know they matter before worrying about where they stand.

3. SHARE WHAT JESUS IS DOING IN YOU.
You don’t need all the answers or a perfectly rehearsed presentation.

If you follow Jesus, look for an opportunity to simply share what He has done, or is doing, in your life.

If you’re still exploring faith, ask someone you trust what Jesus has done in
theirs.
