Seeing with Gospel Eyes

Seeing with Gospel Eyes

There are questions many of us carry but rarely say out loud: What does it really mean to follow Jesus?
Can I believe in Him without surrendering everything?
 Why does church matter?
What is my purpose?
And what might God do through my life if I stopped holding back? In this five-part series, we will explore what it means to go all in with Jesus, His Church, His mission, and the resources He has entrusted to us. We will celebrate baptisms, hear stories of lives being changed locally and globally, look toward the future of Real Life Church, and discover how God can use surrendered people to impact generations. You do not have to have everything figured out. You simply have to be willing to take your next step.

Message Description:
What if the person God wants to reach is already around you?

What if some of the greatest opportunities God has given you are hiding inside ordinary relationships, interruptions, and conversations you almost missed?

We’re continuing ALL IN with a practical message called “Seeing With Gospel Eyes.” Jesus didn’t just save us—He made us His witnesses. We’ll discover how to recognize the divine appointments God has already prepared, how to slow down and truly see people the way Jesus does, and why the harvest may be much closer than you think.

You’ll leave with one simple challenge: Who is your one? Who has God already placed in your workplace, neighborhood, family, classroom, or everyday life who needs someone to stop, listen, care, and share what Jesus has done?

Key words: Church, Unity, Community, Mission, Together Finding a church
JESUS MADE YOU TO BE A WITNESS!
You just need to start telling people what you've seen and heard Jesus do.
He already put You there to be a WITNESS.
The way Jesus reaches a lost world is through your witness!
WITNESSING BEGINS WITH YOUR EYES.
THERE’S SOMETHING DIVINE ABOUT STOPPING TO HONOR AND VALUE PEOPLE!
Your greatest gospel assignments are currently hidden in plain sight.
WHO IS THE ONE (HARVEST) YOU ARE TO BE WITNESS TO?
Talk it Over

1. Who Did Jesus Stop For?
Bartimaeus was easy for the crowd to overlook, but Jesus stopped, honored him, and saw his value. Who are the people in your life you tend to move past, overlook, or feel too busy to really see? What might change if you began seeing them the way Jesus does?

2. What Keeps Me From Seeing the Harvest?
Jesus said, “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” What most often keeps you from recognizing spiritual opportunities around you—busyness, fear, distraction, assumptions about people, insecurity, or something else?

3. Who Have I Labeled?
Sometimes we see people first through their politics, lifestyle, religion, mistakes, personality, or reputation. Is there someone or a group of people you have found difficult to see with compassion? What would it look like to see the person underneath the label?

4. Where Has God Already Placed Me?
Ephesians 2:10 says God has prepared good works in advance for us. Think about your workplace, neighborhood, family, kids’ activities, friendships, and everyday routines. Where might God have already positioned you for a divine appointment that you have been treating as ordinary?

5. What Have I Seen Jesus Do?
A witness simply tells what they have seen, heard, and experienced. You don’t need every theological answer. What is one specific way Jesus has shown you His kindness, goodness, grace, provision, forgiveness, or power? How comfortable would you be sharing that story with someone who doesn’t know Him?

6. Why Am I Afraid to Speak?
When you feel a prompting to encourage someone, pray for them, mention Jesus, or share what God has done, what usually stops you? Fear of rejection? Feeling awkward? Not knowing what to say? Worry about being judged? How does Jesus’ promise that the Holy Spirit will help us speak challenge that fear?

7. Who Is Your One?
Who is one person God may already be putting on your heart who needs to experience His kindness and hear the hope of Jesus? What do you know about their story right now—and what would it look like this week to slow down enough to really listen to them and share God’s loving kindness as the Holy Spirit leads?

8. What Would Obedience Look Like This Week?
Jesus doesn’t ask us to reach everybody today, but He does ask us to be faithful with the people in front of us. What is one practical step you can take this week with your “one”—send the text, buy the coffee, ask a deeper question, invite them over, pray with them, share your story, or simply make yourself available?

Closing Prayer:
Jesus, give us Your eyes. Help us see who You see, stop where You would stop, and have the courage to tell of Your kindness and goodness.
