CORPORATE PRAYER

• Pray for those all over the world who have faced death and destruction from floods, earthquakes and fires, for provision and protection and restoration, and that they might draw near to God through their suffering.

• Pray for someone you know, to hear the gospel and turn to Christ, AND that you might have the courage to witness to them as God gives you the opportunity.

• Praise God for all the blessings in your life and family.

• The Spirit is the Holy Breath of our entire spiritual existence. And it grieves Him when we act like He doesn’t exist.

• We must more seriously recognize how absolutely central the Holy Spirit is to our Christian life and experience.

• By the Spirit, we are delivered from the Law and from the power of sin.

• The Law of the Spirit imparts the life of Christ in those who believe.

• The Old Testament Law could not save, it could only condemn.

• By the life-giving Spirit, you carry the power of Christ to say no to sin!

• You have been given a new life in Christ through the Spirit, so do not let your old life keep ruling you!

• The body of Christ is that mystical body made up of those who have died together with Christ through faith, and have been made “one with Him in spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

• It is not an experience that saves us. It is believing faith.

4. Discuss how we can keep the Holy Spirit central in our experience and avoid extremes or popular trends that often emerge.
