What did He say? Keep your treasures in Heaven!

God set generosity in motion for us, “For God so loved the world that…He gave!”

God has given us a clear command about our treasures, and He links it directly to our hearts!

Jesus is intentionally confronting our human instinct to secure and surround ourselves with what we can see, touch and control.

Jesus is warning us against making the selfish accumulation of possessions, “treasures,” the main goal of life.

Jesus is inviting us into a completely different way of living!

Jesus is inviting us into a life of generosity!

Accept the invitation and live a life of generosity, storing up treasures in Heaven!

When we practice generosity, we become more like Jesus!

When we practice generosity, we become conduits for God’s provision and blessing!

When we practice generosity, it breaks the grip of self!

When we practice generosity, we become recipients of God’s blessing!

Luke 6:38 (NLT)

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.

Our lives are not measured by what we possess, but by what we release.

Generosity produces joy!
