Truth: God’s design is that your life is more than the abundance of possessions.

Point: Reclaim God’s design for your life be being rich towards Him with what you have.

Application: A model for growing in “richness toward to God.”

1. Start where you are, with what you have, so people are impacted!
2. Start by doing your part for the ministry of your own church first.
3. 10% is the traditional goal, but start where you can, stretch yourself and watch God take care of you in ways you won’t understand.
4. Listen to the Holy Spirit as He leads you to give to other initiatives that make a difference for people.
5. Give to people who have less than you or who just need encouragement.

Truth: Your Father cares for you above any other created thing.

Point: God strengthens your heart when you trust His generous care.

Application: How can we trust God’s generous care and receive His strength?

Receive strength by patching the holes in your heart that were drilled through anxiously seeking your own needs.

1. Receive strength by “seeking the Kingdom of God.”

The Kingdom of God is the realm:
- Where the Father’s loving will is always accomplished through His Son, King Jesus.
- Where every citizen is redeemed from evil, healed from brokenness, and repurposed to be God’s people.
- Where God’s Spirit indwells every citizen so they live in the supreme ethic of love.

Seeking God’s Kingdom means:
- Receiving the love and security that comes from the Kingdom’s gospel.
- Applying the King’s teachings (Bible) to every moment in life.
- Accepting how God meets your needs as you invest in His work in others.
